Terms of Service
The terms governing use of this website. Paid engagements are governed by separate signed agreements.
Last updated: 25 April 2026
1. Acceptance of these terms
By accessing or using solidcyber.net (the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. Who we are
The Site is operated by Solid Cyber LLC, a limited liability company formed under the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States.
Registered agent address: 30 N Gould St, Ste N, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
3. What these terms cover
These terms govern your use of the Site only. They do not govern any paid services we may provide to you (for example, penetration testing, cloud hardening, vulnerability scanning, or compliance work).
Paid engagements are governed by a separate written agreement signed between us. In the event of any conflict between that agreement and these Terms in respect of paid services, the signed engagement agreement prevails.
4. Permitted use
You may use the Site to read our content, contact us, and download materials we make publicly available. You may not, without our prior written consent:
- Scrape, crawl, or otherwise systematically extract content from the Site by automated means;
- Submit the contact form or any other input by automated means, or attempt to bypass our bot protections;
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Site;
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, our systems, or any related infrastructure;
- Use the Site to transmit malware, spam, phishing content, or any other unlawful or harmful material;
- Interfere with the operation of the Site or other users' use of it;
- Use the Site or its content in a manner that infringes the rights of any third party.
Nothing in this section is intended to restrict good-faith security research conducted in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable law. If you wish to report a security issue, please email [email protected].
5. Intellectual property
All content on the Site — including text, design, logos, graphics, blog posts, methodology descriptions, and downloadable templates — is owned by Solid Cyber LLC or its licensors, unless explicitly attributed otherwise. All such content is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws.
Where we provide free downloadable materials (such as our Cyber Essentials IT Policy template), they are licensed for the downloader's internal business use only. You may adapt them for your own organisation, but you may not resell, redistribute, or publish them as your own work.
"Solid Cyber" and the Solid Cyber logo are trademarks of Solid Cyber LLC. You may not use them without our prior written consent.
6. User submissions
When you submit information to us via the contact form or by email, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you are authorised to share it with us. We process such information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We provide these links for convenience only and do not endorse, control, or accept responsibility for the content, products, or practices of any third party. Your use of any third-party site is at your own risk and subject to the terms and policies of that third party.
8. Disclaimers
The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free from viruses or other harmful components. Educational content on the Site (including blog posts and downloadable templates) is provided for general information only and does not constitute legal, regulatory, compliance, or professional advice. You should obtain advice from a qualified professional before relying on it for any specific purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Solid Cyber LLC and its directors, members, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or any other legal theory, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with your use of the Site shall not exceed one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited — including, in the United Kingdom and European Economic Area, your statutory rights as a consumer. This section does not apply to liabilities arising under a separate written engagement agreement, which has its own liability terms.
10. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solid Cyber LLC and its directors, members, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with your misuse of the Site, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.
11. Governing law & disputes
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
You and we agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Wyoming for the resolution of any such dispute.
If you are a consumer based in the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, this clause does not deprive you of the protection afforded by mandatory provisions of the law of your country of habitual residence, including your right to bring proceedings in the courts of that country where local law so requires.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the latest revision. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Where changes are significant, we will provide additional notice on the Site.
